Cancellation Policy:
24 Hour advanced notice is required when cancelling an appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment. If you are unable to give 24 hour advance notice, you will be charged the full amount of your appointment. If your appointment has been pre-paid online, the amount will apply towards the fee. If your appointment was not pre-paid, you will be responsible for the full payment prior to scheduling your next appointment. All payments are nonrefundable, nontransferable, and all sales are final.
No Show:
Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment for whatever reason will be considered a 'no-show'. You will be charged the full amount for your missed appointment.
Late Arrivals:
If you arrive past your appointment time, you will be considered 'late'. Your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Depending on how late you arrive, your therapist will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment. Typically there must be at least 30 minutes left in your alloted appointment time in order to still receive a session. Regardless of the length of the session actually given, you will be responsible for the full amount. Out of respect and consideration to your therapist and other customers, please plan accordingly and be on time.
Forms:
All clients are required to complete a health consent form prior to their first appointment and to update the form annually. These forms must be completed 24 hours prior to your appointment. If you are unable to complete the form prior to your appointment, a portion of your session time will be allotted for you to complete the paperwork. No additional time will be given for this. Our forms are all electronic and should take no more than 5 minutes to complete.
Credit Card on File:
All clients are required to place a credit card on file. This card is securely encrypted and only charged in cases of no-show appointments. There will be an additional $25 fee if your card is charged for a no-show and is declined.
Zero Tolerance:
Massage therapy is a vulnerable healing modality that should be a safe environment for both the client and the practitioner. The following zero-tolerance policy protects the mental, physical, emotional, and energetic well-being of our practitioners and clients at all times. All clients and independent contractors are required to sign this policy prior to giving or receiving a massage.
Inner Awakenings Massage, LLC, is dedicated to maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for all clients and practitioners. Sexual harassment and assault by either party will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
Sexual harassment or assault includes any sexual innuendos, sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, sexual jokes, threats, or any other verbal, non-verbal, or physical conduct of a sexual nature that creates an intimidating, hostile, or offensive environment for our staff members or clients. Any and all of this behavior is not tolerated in our facility. The client and practitioner are expected to have a professional and respectful relationship at all times.
Any practitioner or client who experiences or witnesses sexual harassment or assault in our clinic is encouraged to report the incident immediately to the Security and Compliance Officer, Cody Baker (innerawakeningsmassagellc@gmail.com). Reports can be made verbally or in writing.
After confirming that sexual harassment or assault by a client or practitioner has occurred, appropriate action will be taken to address the situation. This may include but is not limited to:
Termination of the client's appointment and expulsion from the premises.
If the incident occurs during a session, the client or practitioner is allowed and encouraged to discontinue the session immediately. If the client is the offender, they will be charged 100% for the session even if the session ends early. If the practitioner is the offender, the client will not be charged for the session at all.
Banning the client from scheduling future appointments at the clinic.
Termination of the practitioner's job.
Involving law enforcement authorities, if necessary and appropriate.
All clients and practitioners are expected to comply with this zero-tolerance policy regarding sexual harassment and assault at all times.
By implementing and enforcing this zero-tolerance policy, we are reaffirming our commitment to creating a safe and respectful environment for all staff members and clients alike. We urge all staff members and clients to join us in promoting a culture of respect, professionalism, and zero tolerance for sexual harassment and assault.
